One91 Academic Programming

District 191 offers summer academic programming for K-12 students and is offered as:

Kindergarten Jumpstart
Summer School for Grades K-5 and 6-7
Summer STEM Academy for Grade 8 (earning high school credit)
Credit Recovery for Grades 9-12

Kindergarten jumpstart

A free program for District 191 students entering kindergarten in September 2024 that provides soon-to-be kindergartners with engaging, hands-on experiences and social learning intended to support the transition to full-day kindergarten. Learn more and register by clicking the button below.

summer stem academy for grade 8

This academy is designed for District 191 students currently enrolled in 8th grade and interested in earning high school credit for English Language Arts and Community Service Learning. Participation is voluntary and free.

Rockin' Reader

Join District 191 principals and staff at Nicollet Commons Park as they read their favorite books this summer! Rockin' Reader happens every Thursday at 11:30 a.m. on the plaza beginning June 13.

Summer Enrichment

Youth programs through One91 Community Education provide enrichment opportunities for students to make the most out of their K-12 experience. Summer's Cool for students entering grades K-5. Look for classes and camps in Art, Dance, Fencing, Sports and GTI Camps in Drawing, Rubik's Cube, Robotics, Drones, Rocketry, Coding, Nature Education, and more. Students in grades 6-12 look for summer Driver Ed, Swing Dance, and more.

Project KIDS Summer Break Entering Grade K-6

The EDGE Entering Grade 6-9

The EDGE is a comprehensive youth program for kids entering grades 6-9 (or until your child turns 16), with a focus on building community, independence and positive interpersonal communication and socialization skills in a fun, recreational and educational environment where kids can feel success, achievement and recognition. Kids who attend The EDGE are involved in planning and have choices in activities. They take exciting trips and are active and out in the community.
