Kindergarten information nights Jan. 23-30

Families of incoming kindergarten students for the 2024-25 school year are invited to attend kindergarten information events in Burnsville-Eagan-Savage School District 191 elementary schools during the last week of January. 

At these events, parents will have the opportunity to hear from principals, teachers and parents about what to expect in kindergarten, as well as ask questions and complete the enrollment process, if they haven’t already. Children are welcome to attend. 

Tuesday, Jan. 23

• Neill Elementary, 5:30-6:30 p.m.

• Vista View Elementary, 5:30-6:30 p.m.

• Rahn Elementary, 6:30-7:30 p.m.

Thursday, Jan. 25 

• Harriet Bishop Elementary, 6:30-7:30 p.m.

• Gideon Pond Elementary, 6:30-7:30 p.m.

• William Byrne Elementary, 6:30-7:30 p.m.

Tuesday, Jan. 30

• Sky Oaks Elementary, 6:30-7:30 p.m.

• Hidden Valley Elementary, 6:30-7:30 p.m.

Interested in our One91 Virtual Academy?

Principal Angie Pohl will host a virtual information night for interested elementary families at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 25. A recording will be posted following the event.

In this event, families will learn about the school's unique approach to online education and have their questions answered by One91 Virtual Academy staff members. Register on our Virtual Academy page. 

Enrollment

To complete enrollment, parents should bring their child’s birth certificate or other proof of age, immunization records, emergency contact information, and a utility bill or other proof of residency (not a driver’s license). Children must be five years old by Sept. 1, 2024, to enroll in kindergarten for the 2024-25 school year.
